here's a reference painting of everyone's favourite alifax, sol. just to let you guys know, alifax are a dog- or wolf-like race that have special spiritual power and are somehow related to the moon (aka the spirit world). they can be any combination of any colours of the rainbow (i.e. pink and purple, gold with polka dots, you name it), but sol's just plain ol' brown. he's the main character (cebriel)'s traveling buddy, he's obnoxious, and he loves food.

that's pretty much a little info on sol? i hope i'm doing a better job on lineless detailing; i'm trying to minimize my use of lineart more. :] aggh his nose looks like it isn't in the right place. D:

theme: doce de coco by yo-yo ma (hearts galore~)
time: 1 hour and maybe 10 minutes?

ps: are his eyes too red? they were originally brown, but the burning made them look too red to me. :S
