Title: Angel of Mine
The Story:
Before I say anything, let me preface this by telling you that I am not a hair dresser, nor do I design dresses…pretty much everything you see here is improvised.
With all that aside, we’ve come to the end of another school year, and when I look back at when I was in school, I can remember that going to the prom was probably my favorite part of High School. I can honestly say that I had a great time there.
My Take:
I really have no idea where to begin here…so why don’t I start with the background? This waterfall idea actually came from the place where my Prom was held (which sadly doesn’t exist anymore). There was an indoor waterfall there which they usually ran for events such as this. Of course it wasn’t anywhere near where the pictures were taken, but why not put it in here? It certainly beats looking at the wall.
I thought about having Gohan’s clothes match Videl’s dress. After seeing how that would look, I quickly changed my mind. Eventually the whole thing would be similar to my own prom picture.
What I Like Most:
Rarely do I give myself this much credit for anything, but I must say…that waterfall came out very nicely…as a matter of fact, I really can’t find something I don’t like here (besides how long it took).
What I Dislike Most:
If I’m not mistaken, I started this one in back in 2006. I tried holding out until May before posting this one, but I kept missing my target date the past two years, I missed again this year, but I decided I wasn’t going to wait until next year to try again.
Final Thoughts:
If you missed out on your prom, I’m sorry…and if you’re planning on missing it…don’t. I had a great time at mine, my friends had a great time at theirs, and I’m pretty sure you’ll have a great time too! You’ve got plenty of time to think about it!
For those of you that are new to my drawings, I use a different style than you are used to. This style is most noticeable when I do DragonBall characters. I have nothing against the original style, but I’m not going to try to be someone that I’m not. I want to have a style of my own.
