Currently: Being scared out of my wits by the intense storm going on outside
---
Gwaaah, it's scary! The lightning and thunder are so close together, and the wind's really strong! o.O We already lost power once, and I've only been up for half a hour.
Anywho, this is my first real attempt at the 'chibi' style. Not exactly wonderful, but it looks better than other chibis I've tired. :D;;
I think I need to work on a new eyestyle for chibis, as well as making sure their bodies aline correctly. *notices Mikan's legs a little too far from her torso* Anyone else notice how hard chibi anatomy is?
This character is Mikan Sakura (Mikan being her first name, it also means mandarin orange) from one of my favorite mangas and animes, Gakuen Alice! YAAAH! Seriously, you ought to check it out. It's totally adorable, but it also has drama! And a little bit of romance later on. C'mon Natsume, just kiss her and get it over with (you know you want to)! You've done it before, but do it with a confession while you're not acting like a total jerk! D| (BTW, just highlight the black bar to read the text underneath, if you want to. But beware! It's a slight spoiler. But you totally could have seen it coming. XD)
I'm hoping I did a more decent job on her skirt than last time. It's really hard to draw the design like in the manga (Tachibana-sensei must use a tone), so I just went off the anime skirt design. :3
Background? An after-minute thought. 'Specially the red dots. I wasn't going to add those, but it looked so empty...
Ability to draw stars = NONE
Materials:
Crayola markers (a majority being those little midget ones that are called 'pipsqueaks' or somethin')
prisma color pencil for the skin
Do you think it's a relatively okay for a chibi attempt? C:
