this piece took forever, literally. kiba's supposed to be looking back at the chunin exam when he faced off against naruto. he knows that he and akamaru are strong together, but he also remembers they lost. so this is his motivation for training and it makes him smile, i guess.
haha, i don't really know, i'm just trying to explain the picture a bit more.

the hardest things to color were akamaru, kiba's skin, and the forest background. i'm working on getting better at the background so sorry if it lacks just a bit.
