This is a pic for a contest held by Red Kie It's my own take of a character from the novel L'eve Future also known as The Future Eve or Tomorrow's Eve. It's about a man named Lord Celian Ewald who is depressed over his fiancee's empty personality, she's beautiful but is empty inside. He visits a fictionalizes Thomas Edison at Menlo Park and Thomas deicides to build and artificial woman for him. Her name would be Hadaly. Lord Ewald decides to have her shipped to him in a big coffin. (hence the coffin in the back)

I never really read the book but I so want to it's supposed to be the first fiction with an android... or something, it was written about 1877 to 1879 and published in final finished form in 1886. It sounds pretty cool. Also since I never read the book I had to kind of make up her appearance. This is only how she appears in my mind. I was thinking of how noble women dressed back in those times so I made the dress like that but also she is an android so I felt like giving her something... weird, hence the hat. It is a weird hat isn't it? I kinda like it anyway though.

Another thing about Hadaly, seems she was only able to speak in the words of dead poets, and... I totally forgot to put the rings on her fingers that you had to manipulate to wake her. But I like it as is.
