I am going to ut this here on this day and this late because I am not completely fussed that it get seen a lot. It is the image that broke my creative erm wasteland moment. You know, not being allowed to draw. I do that sometimes. The things I have in mind to create are too personal for me to rush into them and so I refused to go near a pencil. I have been wanting to do this idea since my brother told me of his book and finally, yesterday, I let myself sit at my desk and draw.
Radio Graveyard is my brother's first book which he says is going to be published (I will believe him when I see it on the shelf in a store somewhere!) He asked me what came into my mind when someone said "radio graveyard." This is that image ~ Looks at it ~ It looks better in reality and from a distance. No idea why ~ Laughs ~
My favourite part is the tree which has nothing to do with the story. The radio tower and the grave stones do but I can't say what (just in case his book is actually going to be published!) The radios on the left are the ultimate personification of that title for me. That is a radio graveyard lol!
I am working on another versian of this, with my brother's consultation. I am hoping that if I can do it well enough I can be the cover art for his book and get a mention ~ Crosses fingers ~ He made me happy when he saw this. My brother said that this was close to what he had imagined the front cover to be.
Oh yea and it's shaded because I really could not be bothered to colour this ~ Stares ~ It would be a nightmare! If the front cover has to be in colour then the publishers can do it themselves lol!!!
Enjoy!
