What I've done erase myself.... 
Mr. Shades Ferris himself. He is tears thinking of what he has done. He was the lead scientist on project Reaper. He inadvertently caused the deaths of many and lost many children to this project even stripping Ranu of her humanity. Ranu acts very puppet like in speech and usually quiet. Ferris takes the blame for what he does, but even cool shades can't hide the tears.
