Hi everyone! *hugs*

This is my submission for ponyochan's contest. It's to draw a girl named Chrysanthemum, and this is what I came up with. I decided to try something really different and give her red hair. ^__^ I'm fairly happy with how it turned out (even though my scanner doesn't like me anymore -.-;)

Anyway, I'm really excited that I was able to draw this. I'm not used to drawing young-ish girls, so I had to look at an old photo of myself to get an idea for the correct size and stuff. Actually, that's also how I got the idea for the dress. Though, mine was blue, covered in flowers and had a lot of lace.

OH! I'd like to ask a favor- If I said I would join a contest that any of you have made and I haven't submitted anything yet, I would appreciate a reminder (if you still want me to participate). When I got really sick and then depressed, I just sort of dropped drawing completely and I feel like I'm starting from scratch. Which, of course, means that I wasn't smart enough to write down which contests I still need to draw something for.

Anyway, no big deal I guess. I know I've missed the deadline for several already, so I apologize for that.
