This drawing takes a Superman pose from the front cover of "DC Universe" No. 0. However, in making this piece, I decided to not only simply Superman's muscular features, but also place him in one of the Superman outfits featured in DC Super-hero comics from the 1940s, which happens to be the costume he wore in the 1940s theatrical animated "Superman" shorts.
