Ok let me just start off by saying how happy I am with myself! XD I haven't drawn a realistic portrait since 10th grade, I really sucked back then, so I decided to practice since I'm taking a drawing class this next semester.....so yeah I drew Sam Winchester from supernatural, my first realistic drawing in 3 years.
I used the pic of him on the cover of the season 2 box set as refernece and drew the whole thing in pencil. Tis really light though, so when I scanned it onto the computer it sorta looked like crap, so I darkened it and messed with the contrast. I'll put the unaltered one up as a draft.
Apparently I wasn't as bad as I thought XD My shading has really improved. I kinda messed up on the hair though and the shape of his face is a bit off. His right eye really pissed me off >.< I just couldn't get it right, so I just stuck a chunk of hair there XD I need to work on drawing eyes. The mistakes are more noticeable in unaltered one. I don know.....it sort of looks like Sam....I hope XD
