this is some sort of late entry for a contest (IchigoShirayki contest draw a cat)
I know this looks like nothing catish so I'll tell you the long story
I first drew a cat staring at a fish bowl then I thought it looked bad and I felt like adding people in it so I added the person who looks like a cat then I thought:what a fishy person looks like?
a mermaid :D
yeah it's confusing,I know but it was fun drawing something new
and about the messy BG:I had no idea for one so I colored randomly
yeah this is probably my worst fan art ever but I hope you like it^^
