From Vagabond, which is an adaptation of Eiji Yoshikawa's book, Musashi...I just loved that book...and, off and on, have been collecting the volumes of Vagabond just because. They are, from left to right: Musashi, Takuan Soho (I just had to include him), and Otsu at the bottom. She didn't turn out so great, but there you go. I've never drawn any of these characters before, so I'm sure with a bit of practice, Otsu will turn out better next time.

This was done in charcoal. I haven't done anything in charcoal for a long, long time...and I thought, hey, I just blew some cash on a charcoal pencil set, why not do something from Vagabond?
