Old, old picture! Just a color re-vamp.
Two big in your face mistakes:
1.) Zhek's shoulders are way, way too narrow.
2.) Koji's face [mostly chin] is just really messed up.
3.) Koji's shadow is spotty.
4.) [instert your own observations]
Alright, so, I don't draw much and lately not at all. A funny thing happens when you suddenly get a truck load of work dumped on you. You fry. Somewhere between balancing molecular equations and the pathways to coping, I took a break and turn this old tradition line art I had into a digital one. Between cations and anions (most of my homework is Chem) I got Zhek all colored. Between religious orientation and throwing my book against the wall I got Koji finished. Then after carbonate I got in the background and little details. This is called procratination. Horrible slacker.
Things Changed:
1.) Background, scrapped the whole thing and started over. I like the sky better in this version. I think it gets the idea of dawn(ish) across better. Also added the infinity symbol in the wall. Smoothed out the area around it so you could see it better.
2.) Koji's skin. Her skin seemed really muddled before. I tried giving her that "expecting mother glow". I also added so tired lines around her eyes. Tired from being uncomfortable, not from not sleeping.
3.) Zhek's robe. I made the boarder shiney.
4.) Zhek's skin details. I gave him a pre-morning beard. The boy's twenty and ran out before dawn. He looks like a mess, of course he didn't shave. I also added dark circles. He ran out to grocery shop before dawn. Dark circles happen.
5.) Their noses. I added an extra line.
And that's it for the color re-vamp. I should probably draw something new someday.

Seriously.
Dedicated to Cas just because I never dedicate things to her. OH, I have a better thing in mind...but still same dedication.
