Created through genetic mutation, Kiri, Hiruka, Sou, Kouji, and Riku are the next generation of Akatsuki. They all struggle with their share of misfortunes, also being joined with the biiju's powers.

Hiruka is the most emotionally unstable of the trio. She can't normally have a level head around anyone, and the only productive thing she really does is her artwork. She can't stand Sou anywhere out of combat, but is surprisingly Kiri's best friend. Watches Kouji from a distance.
