A picture I drew of the popular idol singer Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier. I sketched out the picture in pencil, photo copied it, then inked it with black and gray markers. This is mostly a practice piece using markers and shading. I am going to use this same picture to practice in Adobe Photoshop.

As far as the content of the image, I used my imagination! The obi sash is suppose to be somewhat see-through. The rest of her outfit was suppose to go along with her sassy attitude. I drew her hair up and away from her face to portray motion as if she were singing. It's the first time I have atempted drawing individual pieces of the hair like this. But, I did gain more of a grasp on creating highlights in the hair from this piece.
