I figured my avatar was kinda old so I thought of making a new one(even though this image is too big) and well this is what I came up with(eh, I gotta stop seeing samurai movies).I did on painter with the following brushes:
lineart - soft charcoal pencil
coluring - liquid ink(don't remember which)
