If it's a character that you made for you own manga, is that considered a fancharacter?

A character that I had created a while ago, with the actual picture being drawn long before the actual character was thought of. I used 2 pictures: One of the Black Knight from Fire Emblem and one of a certain digimon, though the name escapes me. An angelic one....A higher form of Angelmon, perhaps? Anyways, this drawing has always been one of my most creative pieces and many people always comment about the detail. I don't know why, but....:) The character's name and title is/are: Seraphim, (the) Final Angel of Death and Time. The name "Seraphim" is the highest ranking of angel and the title is based off of his abilities and perhaps a sort of plot purpose. Anyways, I hope you like it.
