its a selkie.... basically a fairy... its a seal... that takes of its skin and LO AND BEHOLD! its a NAKED WOMAN... if you steal the selkies skin, she has to basically obey you. most of the people wanted a wife.... but god frobid she finds her skin she is free. and leaves. think the movie "the secret of roan inish"
