Haruka and I like to get together and challenge ourselves by drawing a lot of the same poses, so eventually all will see her version of this as well.
Its funny how two artists can draw the same pose and yet they are so totally different from each other. Yah, the pose looks the same, but there are differences in the character. Once you have a character design fleshed out, its fun drawing them in different poses. I have always had a bit of difficulty drawing Ren's jacket/dress when I've twisted the body - mostly because it covers up the twists and rather than looking like she's vaulting in mid-air, she just looks flat. Haruka was showing me how to manipulate the jacket so it flows yet doesn't cover. She's good with the flowy bits. I'm good with the actiony shots. So we each benefit from the other's strengths.
