This what I doodle in my spare time. I just draw faces... faces...
And his name is Noah. No, no other stories or whatnot; I've got enough on my plate (namely Hushabyeland, Aasthen Summon, and The Cartographer, the latter of which I've brought back to life and that I am actually drawing) Anyway, I just like to name my characters and give them a little story.
Noah is a very generous, compassionate person who runs a soup kitchen somewhere rather in some nameless town. He tends to act very (sometimes overly) maternalistic to the people that enter the soup kitchen and his volunteers. He lives peacefully above the kitchen with his cats, Boots and Maggie, where he likes to experiment in his own kitchen and watch sappy romance movies. Then one day, the most eccentric person he's ever met walks through the door, and his life is changed forever.
So I guess I don't like drawing faces in my sketches. No, I like to draw people with personalities, and with stories that I might someday elaborate on. Noah might be one of them.
