WOOT! First submission 8D
Anyways, this girl here is a Shapeshifter and the cats behind her are the forms she turns into.
Green Tiger - Kasha, Wind Attribute/Melee Damage Dealer
*A Kasha is a Japanese cat demon that descends from the sky and carries off corpses : D couldn't find much else on it, but that's what i do know : P
Purple Cat - Nekomata, Dark Attribute/Magic Damage Dealer
*Nekomata are another form of domesticated cats that reach..I guess you can call it "Supernatural Maturity" lol Their tail grows so long that their tail splits into two! There's also a legend of a Nekomata who's tail split SIX TIMES! WAOH! xD I couldn't find much info on them, but from what I've seen in anime/comics, Nekomata are always depicted as darker versions of the Bakeneko o_O
Japanese Bobtail Kitty (The white one!!) - Bakeneko! Light Attribute/Healer
*Domesticated cats become Bakeneko's when they reach a certain age, reach about eight pounds or is allowed to keep it's tail, the cat reaches "Supernatual Maturity" xD The Bakeneko can walk on it's hind legs, revive a corpse by jumping over it, talk in human languages and even transform into it's owner after EATING IT!! Yeah!
- One Legend tells of a man, named Takasu (one of my namesakes :D), who's mother's personality completely changed when her cat disappeared. For many years, his mother was very secluded and hid in her room to eat her meals. And when the family spied on her, they found a cat monster in the woman's clothes chewing on a carcass! > :O
- Another Legend talks about a poor priest in Setugaya Japan who was working hard to keep his poor temple up. He had a Japanese Bobtail, named Tama (my other namesake : D) and asked the cat if there was anything it could do for the temple to save it since he was keeping it despite the poverty. But one day there was a man sitting by a tree outside the temple and saw the priest's cat beckoning to him. And when he went over to the cat, lightning struck the tree he was just sitting at! He became friends with the priest and happened to be a very wealthy man! He chose the temple as his family temple and renamed it Goutokuji, and practically saved the temple :'3
Just some history on the cat's that inspired my name and the cat forms I used :'3 Ohohoh and the Legend of Tama the Temple cat also inspired one of the legends for the Maneki Neko statue! And in a train station at Kishi Station in Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, there is a 10-year old calico cat named Tama who is the Station Master of the train station :'3 Accompanied by her buddies Chibi and Miiko, two other kitties that live there with her : 3
