At the demand request of my hero reirei18 I finished Chrome.

I know... I'm such a dork. .___. I don't even really know her but she's already on my hero's list (it's because of her wonderful art!).

I actually wasn't planning on finishing it as I was afraid I'd ruin my sketch. I've never coloured any of my semi-realist stuff digitally before so it was really strange. I like how it turned out though. =D

The story behind my semi-realist style:
When I moved here to America two (almost three now!) years ago, I only knew how to draw in the manhwa styles I'd memorized. Well, last year in 7th grade, I had this art teacher supposedly didn't like manhwa/manga/anime styles and I was told that I'd get in lot's of trouble for turning in my usual stuff. So I spent ALL summer (inbetween 6th&7th grade) developing this style that would let me still draw in a way that I was comfortable but would be realistic enough for the teacher to handle.

Turns out though, that said teacher was only worried about copyright laws and is just under the misconseption that all things drawn by the junior high students in those styles were characters from television or books. Is it really that hard to believe in kids making up their own characters and stories? She didn't mind the styles at all and said that they were actually really good for practice.
