I drew this for Axel Alloy's Fan Art challenge for Mother's Day. I based it off of a scene from my YYH Beyond! series that I had previously written that was intended as a little tribute to motherhood since pregnant women in anime isn't very common. In this picture Midori (who is Genkai's grandniece and married to Kurama) is talking with Kayko (who is now married to Yusuke and they have a little son, Kazuki) about their husbands being off. Midori reassures Kayko of the influence they have as mothers, with her mother-in-law as an example since Kurama's mother raised him without knowing he was a demon and had a huge impact on him and who he was.
