'Tis my entry for Axel Alloy's Mother's Day contest, and just in time, lol. The deadline is tomorrow, but I didn't forget and managed to get the time to finish it before the challenge was over.

Anyways, I wanted to try out a different style for this one. I like the way it turned out, but their faces just look awkward to me. I think it's because I'm no good at drawing lips, lol.

I decided to draw two Equinox characters for this because I thought it would match well with the theme of the contest. Well, the red-haired boy to the right (yes, he's male by the way xP) is Keyarosso, aka Key. He's a child prodigy and amazing cellist (hence the manly hands, lol) who is also an orphan. To the left is Aríelle, who is an opera singer and adopted member of the royal family. She travels with Key and shares a special bond with the boy, and she is almost like the mother he never knew.

Anyways, happy Mother's day coming up next month to all of you who love your mums! I suppose I could dedicate this to my own. x3
