I haven't been drawing as much as I use too when I was young. I decided to draw Haruhi because to bring back again my drawing skills...and to practice in drawing anime. But it was also needed for an assignment at my college last year. We needed to redesign an exhibit, which we decided was the anime expo. We have to design the welcome signs....or in general the signs that you would see in museums and in exhibit, that guides you around the area and tell you what the location is. These signs needed to be designed to fit with the exhibit. We created using other animes from Eureka, Totoro, Death Note, and The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. The Haruhi image which you see above...was used for the welcoming sign....Totoro was used for in the bus shelter ad. which in the scene Totoro was standing at a bus shelter so it fitted perfectly....Eureka was used for the ad outside of the bus where he is on the board flying....Death Note...we used Ryuk as a giveaway gift for the guests that came in, and as part of a flip book...the flip book was in flash to show what the sequence would look like if we were to make it....you can see the animation at my youtube channel under " Video" titled "Ryuk, Light, and Apple"
