This is my first entry for the NYAF mascot contest. I started this last week, (Yeah, it took me that long because I'm a perfectionist.) but I've had the design in my head since October because I wasn't old enough.

So, this Nya-F-chan. Her name is a play on words. Like, "Nya" is the sound a cat makes, and the conventions initials is NYAF, and she's a neko-mimi. (Ha-ha, get it?...OTL)

Anyway, when I think of New York, I think of a lot of thing, because I live there and there's so many unique things there. The thing that stood out to me was New York and Japanese Fashion. ( Lolita fashion and the "I <3 NY" t-shirt, but with a twist.)
