this time tried combining a skyscraper with the natural skyscrapers of Japan (bamboo!). this design is also inspired partly by the Japanese folk tale "Princess Kaguya" (Kaguya-Hime), which is about a tiny girl found in a stick of bamboo. The boy in the suit represents nyc businessmen and last time I went to NYAF I saw huge swarms of pigeons, so the pigeon also represents nyc ^^
