this is another version of my "bambooscraper" -- a cross between a skyscraper of NY and Japan's natural skyscraper, the bamboo.
this design is partly inspired by the Japanese folk tale "Princess Kaguya" (Kaguya-Hime), which is about a tiny girl found in a stick of bamboo.

The last time I went to NYAF I saw huge swarms of pigeons, so the pigeon represents nyc also ^^
