I was influenced by my own life as a New Yorker and anime lover when I created this mascot. For me, NYC means more about the culture in the city - the fashion, the shopping, the convenience to get almost anything you want at any time of the day. I paired those ideas with several iconic symbols of NYC to create Nishiko-chan.
