After I figured out the Spiderman part (see red apple entry) i realized later how important the environment was nowadays. Making the apple (representing New York)green means that NYC is going to "go green". Having a chibi Spiderman (who's style came from anime) embrace the green apple means that people like a more energy efficient, "green" NYC. (there's actualy a folo-up with a diff apple dats still green)
