Last minute entry!

Here comes a new challenger!

I'm very sorry to submit so last minute but you know, school and all. I entered the last two contests as well, those were before I started studying to become a commercial artist. This contest is basically asking what I'm going to be paid to when I graduate... design. Before I didn't quite understand what the judges wanted but now I have a better idea. Though I still don't understand why they only ask for a jpeg. I mean for web display yeah but if they're going to print it, I wouldn't use jpegs.

Anyway my entry is something I cooked up, (ironically enough after I just watched the portfolio's of the graduating commercial artists) thinking of what is pleasing to see by many people. I mean if you win everybody sees what you did right? You have to make it something that's got mass appeal with the Mass Appeal! but you also have to have your own flavor you know?

So I did this. Chan-chan. (Silly name I know but it's better than Bliggy Bloggy) Well, I was thinking of summer and all so I just tried to give it that bright summer sky deal. I also gave her a juice box with a big apple on it *laughs dryly* So she can quench her thirst in the sweltering heat. ^__^

Ya know even if I don't make it (which won't be the first time) darn it, I'm pretty proud of myself for doing this one.
