Molly, the girl, who is the attacking vampire, came from the woods, as noted by the leaves in her hair and the quote. Molly went through the waterway Maria had played in as a baby. There are no eyes for Molly because of her bangs and hair so it's dark and shadow-y on her face. Like it? I hope so. I worked hard.
