Inspired by Toniko Pantoja's Duet of the Hunt... he's an amazing storyteller! :) On his dA account, I like to look at his art for the colors and textures. Really nice stuff.

I wanted to draw something dramatic. While watching his movie and listening to its music (X-Ray Dog's The Vision and Breathing Space), I decided on this. And, surprisingly, it came out exactly as I had wanted it to. I wanted the viewer to feel trapped to, which is why I blocked out all corners, only letting that residual amount of light trickle in. If you watch the video, this is how I imagined the bird felt...

Yeah... drama! Dancing pictures are fun.
