Personality: He is a soccer player; in fact he is his team’s star player. He is very talented and popular and smart on top of that! An honor role student who seems totally perfect.
But, the truth is he has many problems in his life.
His parents are on the brink of a divorce and it pains him emotionally to the point of insomnia. His younger sister died at the age of four, when he was ten and he has never really gotten over it.
But despite how negative his life is he is always smiling at school and he tries not to let it get to him, at least not in front of his friends.
The first person he lets into his tortured world is (female character’s name here), who helps him through his pain with love.
Quote (from male character): “life is pain, and it is inescapable.”

I don’t know how this fits into the girl’s story but this is how I imagine him.

He is wearing his casual clothing (you may want a school uniform and soccer uniform too) and often sticks to less ‘attention drawing’ colors, often mild tones of clothing. Ie, browns, beiges, etc.

Soccer is his only activity that lets him vent his frustration and anger.
