Just an upper-body portrait of Alan, one of the main characters from my novel Valdevirtus, in a suit of armor. He usually just wears casual clothing, though, but he does have some armor later on in the story, so I thought I'd like to draw it.

Anyways! I loved playing with the textures for this one. The realism I was going for was difficult, but I think I did pretty well on the most difficult parts to change styles in (eyebrows, nose, lips). I like the way his nose turned out~ -pokes it- But not as beautiful as his shiny eyes~ <3
