I was binging on Hetalia memes and suddenly decided that I needed to draw two OCs... as 75%-ish of my ethnic heritage is not represented.

This is a little over 50%, wearing a traditional man's outfit. >>

For those who cannot read my writing (plus elaborations):

Holland-tan (Sus(anna) van der Zee (Sus pronounced like Dr. Seuss))
- was once an imperial power complete with multiple spice colonies (Indonesia, a.k.a. the (Dutch) East Indies, as well as some Caribbean islands and the like)
- has a rich merchant history (Japan in particular (as they were the only ones allowed into Nagasaki Harbor, once or twice a year, the entire time Japan was closed off to the rest of the world... hence that one episode of Samurai Champloo))
- used to be part of Belgium, but disliked the French being there too (although in reality it was slightly more complicated than that)
- is often mistaken as Germany in disguise by America (Oh, jeezum crowe... you have NO IDEA. D: There's a reason why she looks so irked.)
- possesses height to rival Russia (tallest ethnicity in the world)
- enjoys sailing, cycling, good cheese/beer and football (soccer)

I remember reading somewhere that The Netherlands was supposed to be a girl... but I've mainly just watched the anime, which gives no clue as of yet.
