Bobby Shaftoe went to sea,
Silver buckles on his knee.
He'll come back and marry me.
Pretty Bobby Shaftoe.
Bobby Shaftoe's fine and fair.
Combing down his auburn hair.
He's my love forever more.
Pretty Bobby Shaftoe.
Ok. This is my entry for the "Bloody Nursery Rhyme" challenge. when I heard the rhyme (trying to think creepy) it kinda popped into an "A Rose for Emily" kinda deal. This took me a while, and I rushed to finish it on time. So the dress and whatnot are not the best. Though I am somewhat proud of the mutton leg sleeves. And try not to look at the table. I just scribbled. And no shading. Sorry.
If anyone's having trouble figuring this out or hasn't read "A Rose for Emily" try the full view and check out the bottles on the bottom shelves. That should help some. If not, comment and I'll explain it. I almost inverted it. You can see much more detail and the lace looks a lot more like lace. As for the title, I couldn't help myself. I love that movie.
