So, I originally did this for the creepy nursery rhyme challenge to "Bobby Shaftoe". But when it's inverted you can see a little more detail. Like the finger wrinkles, hair and dress folds and junk. Also, the lace looks a little more like lace.
Original (Arsenic and Olde Lace) has the rhyme on it. I get the feeling a lot of people don't get what's happening (if anyone looks at it) so to clear it up:
She liked the guy, he was a pretty boy. She decides that he's going to marry her, but all the other ladies liked him too, so he could have his pick. I guess he didn't propose fast enough or said no. So she has him over and slips him some poison. "He's my love forever more, Pretty Bobby Shaftoe."
In the back, on the shelves near the bottom are an old arsenic bottle and a bottle of Cowley's Rat Poison( real, I looked it up ^^). You can read them in high res view. She's supposed to be wearing a wedding dress and that's a wedding ring she's sticking on his finger. I worked hard on those hands.
I thought it was disturbing enough. Though, I admit, hardly original. Oh well.
Oh. yah. And dedicated to Deanie, because I used that wedding dress magazine she left here for the bust pose. Hehe, why did she have a wedding magazine? Ask her.
