In light of the recent influx of vampire stories, I thought I would make my own.

However, instead of starring a hormonally-challenged, high school vampire, it stars Ulrich, a vampire bitten one night when he was getting a midnight snack. He fries under direct sunlight, transforms into a bat, and enjoys a good glass of people-blood before bed. He lives with his sister, who disapproves of his longing, but cleans his socks.

And, instead of falling for a bimbo human, he is smitten over Nerissa, a mer-girl (who doubles as a mermaid!) with more sass than a truckload of teenagers. She loves human-watching, but whenever she calls them over to talk to them, they either walk of the dock to their death, or run their boats aground, again resulting in death. She's very misunderstood by mortals.

Fortunately for Ulrich, they are both immortal beings. Unfortunately for Nerissa, they are both immortal beings.

Hilarity ensues!
