I love the Suikoden series. I'm currently making my way through Suikoden V and as usual, the colourful cast of characters of the 108 stars of destiny are quite likable. I started sketching a fun little idea I had based on two friends turned rivals and the main character, a potential crush (well.. they both think he's cute).

To the left, Subala, a lively, trident-wielding fisherman (fishergirl?) who runs the fishing minigame after you recruit her. To the right is Lun, a girl who inherited a bit of her father's thickheadedness, and A LOT of her mother's brea--- kindness. *laughs* In the centre is main character for Suikoden V, a prince, aptly referred to as Prince *whatever name you choose*.

I won't bugger with details about each character (like I tend to do). What I will tell you is that this little scene doesn't happen in the game, I just thought it would be amusing to draw up. As you can see, I'm not quite adept at mimicking the official art for the game, but I tried to be as accurate as possible, despite being a little sloppy with my style.
