FOR THIS PTA REFLECTIONS ART CONTEST THINGY AT MY SCHOOL.

The theme was "Beauty is..." and we were supposed to express the theme through the fine arts.
I went with Visual Arts(cuz I'm not good at anything else) of course. xD

So yea. My Artist statement was like....
A man is doomed to walk a forever barren land. One day he finds a rose lying on the ground. As he picks it up, life begins to light up his world.

Or something like that. I forgot to save the file I had it on. XD I just printed it out and sent it in with my application.

Took a lot of work. Trying a new style of coloring...plus I'm trying to use more effects and stuff in my digital art work. Hopefully I can get the hang of it quick and put up a lot of awesome work~

Design for the man was really interesting and fun. I just planned the pose and made it look like a skeleton. And to avoid adding all this unneeded detail, I just stretched some skin over it.

Lineart was done in O.C 1.1 and everything else was done in Photoshop. C:
Coloring was pretty rushed since everything was due today(finished yesterday). And I still had to do all this paper work and wash dishes and a bunch of other stuff. *A* Took about maybe 3-4 hours on this(including the refining lineart and coloring. Not the sketch)
