behold! i haven't drawn much lately, infact, this was made weeks ago, but i never submitted it. anywho, these lovely women are from my story duchess in dreamland, though they haven't come in yet.
the woman in the red's female name is lorna, but when she is pretending to be a male (which would explain the short hair) her alias is lachlan (scottish meaning viking). she fakes her gender to join the battalion in chelicerae. lorna always wanted to wear pretty dresses but she would be as skinny as other women because she hasn't practiced wearing corsets (this story is set in the victorian era) and she has short hair. her and ivan (another character yet to come) might be in love (oh my, the drama!)
the woman in the black dress is named zylphia/silvia (i haven't decided). she is the main antagonist and isn't human. silvia is a shape-shifting female vampire, known as a loogaroo (french-american folklore). she was found by natalia suspended on a cross (like jesus) in a singing tower. after her first sight of blood, she sprouts the wings that were cut off during her crucifixion and tries to devour natalia who was then saved by ivan.

this took quite along time to color, particularly lorna, because of her striped dress.
