Sailor Panda-Moon is here to bring panda-moon-ium! *Shot.*
Anyway, this is for the "Attack of the Panda" Challenge. The inspiration was of two panda toys that I played with when I was young. The big panda is based on a large stuffed panda named Cowabunga (don't know where that name came from). The little panda is based on a panda hand puppet named Pansy. I still have them.
The other inspiration I had was of that creepy guy at anime conventions dressed up as Sailor Moon. I just pictured a panda in his place and came up with this. Yes, Cowabunga is a dude.
So, Cowabunga is striking a pose when the real Sailor Moon walks up. She's staring at him with that "you've-got-to-be-kidding-me" look. Pansy is quite embarrassed for her large friend.
All in all, I could have done better with this picture. It was all done from memory, so I know I got the sailor costumes wrong. That's right. No references. At all.
I also rushed through it because I didn't know that the deadline was coming up so quickly. I barely made it in time.
This picture was made with pencil, colored pencils, and pens on sketch paper. An eraser was also used. A lot.
Please do not take this picture with out my permission, claim it as your own, et cetera. If you do, I will find you. Seriously.
