I had to do a functional design project in art class. In it we had to design (not make) an outfit, building, or automobile with a theme. For my theme I chose puffins.

This is the "default" design. It's longer in the back to create a tail of sorts, and the "wings" are just cut strips of fabric (as opposed to being open)

With this project the super hero Puffin Lass was born! A hero with all the flying, swimming, and cold resistance abilities of a puffin! (she wears black bike shorts under that skirt)
