I was late to update this but whatever. This is a scene in my original manga I'm working on. The girl is my OC called Loralie and a leprechaun she meets in the woods. She's traveling and her shoes get ruined. Then a leprechaun appears and offers to help mend her shoes as his kind are shoe makers. In no time the shoes were as good as new.

"Thank you," Loralie said gratefully reaching for the shoes.

"Hold it," The leprechaun said. Moving the shoes away from her reach and extended his hand out at Loralie. "Pay up, girseach*."

"What?"

"I be wantin' payment fer mendin' yer shoes."

"Payment?"

"Dis my kind's trade to mend shoes and we don't mend fer free for anyone. And we only accept gold."

"But I don't have gold or anything." Loralie said.

"Then say 'bye bye' to yer kicks." and the leprechaun threw the shoes into the river.

"Hey!!!"

Happy St. Patrick's Day every one! Don't trust the leprechaun's they're greedy little things. XD
