Desires are what make humans weak. i know this since i've fallen for them myself ~Vladimir Zakusan
i don't usually draw Vladimir all that much but i thought i would for this challenge since it seemed to fit him best. In my story he is a vampire but he was human at some point.
some background so ya know what's going on..
Vladimir was born a normal human being. there were no vampires or weird monsters in the world. they were nothing more than fairy tales, ones that he enjoyed reading about. As a human he was a well rounded young man. he was charming, kind, handsome, curteous(sp) and he always attended sunday mass/church.
but beneath all of these good traits, he hid a darker personality, one that shows when he loses his human nature. Though he is a proud christian, he can't help but doubt the will of god and he has trouble believeing in a heaven or hell. But his beliefs are soon answered when he ends up seling his soul to the devil. What he was told sounded like a good thing, something that would bring peace but it ended in tragedy.
The creature grabbing him gives a huge spoiler of what's to come in the book. But it's only a spoiler if you know what's going on and you need to give some thought on it as well.
a verse from the story...not accurate since i'm too lazy to pull up the actual writing.
"Blood is the essence of life. Why do you think we survive off it? I gave my blood to this creature as well as a fragment of my own spirit. Being the undead though, you and I don’t possess much of a spirit anymore but because of my stupid decision such a long time ago, it gave us the power to bring the dead back to life.”
“So Dante, he has a piece of your spirit then?” (zylar)
“Yes, but he has more than a fragment. He possesses half."
That's just a tid bit. Can you guess what half Dante possesses? Good...or bad?
comment hug fave sorry for all the info
thanks
