So among all the scandal in the Catholic church now, a few days ago they issued a statement that the heads at the Vatican have forgiven the Beatles for their old rockstar lifestyle as well as back in the '60s when John Lennon said that the band was "bigger than Jesus".

I don't know how many of you caught this news tidbit, but I was quite amused by it and of course such amusement brought about the idea to do a sort of editorial cartoon of it. I kinda like how the chibi Pope came out with the shadows under his eyes. (Seriously, when I first saw a picture of the man after he was elected to his office, I thought, "But he looks like Palpatine from Star Wars.") And then there's the John Lennon angel come to deliver some heavenly advice. If you can't read the words on the newspaper, the headlines are 'Priest Sex Scandal' and 'Vatican Pardons Beatles'.

Oh, I hope nobody gets seriously offended by this.
