After seeing the 2009 animated Sci-Fi movie "Astro Boy" in theaters, two things came in mind: 1) how would the characters of some other Anime/Manga look like in a non-Manga-style look?, and 2) how would the characters of some Anime/Manga look like if their stories got adapted into or re-imagined for animated films/series or comic books for the Western audiences?
Anyway, after thinking of those two questions I mentioned above, I decided to start doing non-Manga-style drawings of some Anime/Manga characters, and today, I present to you my personal non-Manga-style version of Hakufu Sonsaku, the protagonist of "Ikki Tousen" (a.k.a. "Battle Vixens"). Knowing that Hakufu is of Japan with a Japanese name, I drew her with Asian eyes. For fun, I drew her abs to look more sculpted as to make the fighter herself look more like the physically strong-and-tough woman type. Nevertheless, Hakufu in this drawing still remains sexy, beautiful, stunning, and attractive (or so in my opinion).
Please don't hate me for this doing this. I've always wanted to do this kind of task with the 2009 "Astro Boy" movie being my inspiration for this. I hope you like this drawing, and comments are welcome.
