I did this picture about a year ago. I was missing one of my friends who was on the other side of the country. Plus my mom was starting to wonder if I could draw anything real looking. So I set out to prove her wrong. All I could think about to draw was my friend. I know he was at the ocean so I did how I remembered his face, and tried to make it as real looking as possible.

Then this pic emerged.

I thought it looked pretty real when it was done. So I was proud of my new creation, but now I know better. I have done some portraits of my family members and they were no were near this easy.
