Tormented by the lie he's forced to tell his sister, Hiei remains silent at Yukina's approach. As she bows to greet him, she notices the anguish upon his face.
"I can't take much more of this, but..."
"But what? What's troubling you, Hiei?"
"No...I don't wish to burden you. I can't say what's the matter, because..."
"Please. Tell me what's wrong. I believe what it might be. But unless you tell me, then I won't be sure what it is."
"I can't tell you. I was told in payment to receiving this damn eye, in order to locate the Ice World, I must server all ties and truths about everyone there. But..."
"Whoever told you that must have wished you even more pain upon you."
"I just can't say the truth, especially not to you. Besides if you knew, then you'd be dragged into my retched life of murder and sin. I just can't..." Hiei drops to his knees and loses grip of his sword's handle.
Yukina kneels in front of him and embraces him, cradling his head.
"Truth is you're my brother, right?"
"No...who told you that? Because I'll kill..."
"Nobody told me. Nobody had to. I've known who you were and what you were to me. I've known for a long time."
"I'm just so sorry...I didn't want to lie. But I'm such a damn f...fool. You must hate me because I've lied this whole time." Tears form in his eyes and begin to drip down his face.
"I could never hate you. You were only trying to protect me, that's all." Upon hearing her words, Hiei starts crying as hard as he can. "I just love you, Brother. Always have and always will."
